Beverly “Bev” McKee, 77, Edgewater FL, daughter of Donald and Lydia Baker who were residents of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, January 8, 2012. Bev was born in Warren Ohio and came to this area in 2005 from Orrville, OH. She lived with her grandson Jason Smith. Bev retried from First National Bank in Orrville where she was a Customer Service specialist. She also assisted her husband in running the family business McKee Electric and Refrigeration Company. She was very active in many organizations including Board Member of Boy’s Club in Orrville and choir director at the Missionary Alliance Church in Orrville and St Peter’s United Church of Christ in Apple Creek OH. Locally she was a member of The Red Hat Society, active in Relay for Life and she organized a card and stamp club in Magnolia Village.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Richard McKee and companion Deanne Young, Lynn and Kathleen McKee, Debra Smith, grandchildren Valerie McKee, Jeremy Smity, Victoria Higby, Holly McKee, Stephen McKee, Michael and Caitlin Delinsky and nephews, nieces and grand nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years Harold “Hez” McKee and was the last of four siblings to survive.

Life Celebration service will be 6:30 PM Wednesday at Baldwin Brothers Cremation Society 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach with The Reverend Richard Lawless officiating.
